In this FREE 25-30 minute consultation I'll help you to ensure that you achieve your leadership goals. You will:

Judgement Workshop: The Art of Complex Decision Making
Enabling Greater Personal and Business Success
Professional judgement is possibly the most important capability of any leader. Why do some organisations consistently win in the marketplace, while others struggle from crisis to crisis? A vital part of the answer, as Jim Collins clearly demonstrated in his best-selling book, Good to Great, is leadership. Leaders have the power to build spectacular success stories or drag their companies into decline. Which way they go is largely determined by the quality of their decisions.
The decisions of unit heads or team leaders are just as critical within their own areas of influence. The challenge for everyone is that making decisions, whether relating to strategy, operational crises or people, cannot reliably be boiled down to pure reasoning in a process that will provide all the answers. In this rapidly changing and highly complex world, many judgement calls are riddled with far too many intangibles, complexities, unknowns and variables to allow every option to be identified, fully analysed and understood.
The solution to this problem lies in us raising our awareness of two distinct and widely overlooked factors: the impact of the broader context within which the decision must be made and the mental processes involved. Armed with this knowledge, several means can be identified by which anyone can improve their skills in this most critical area, often quite literally overnight.
This workshop, which takes place over two information packed days, enables participants to learn how to adapt their approach to decision-making based on the nature of the situation they face. This is a consistent characteristic of great leaders. They also gain awareness of the biases and traps which impact judgement, learning to recognise and become alert to them so that they can compensate accordingly: the most effective way to achieve improved performance in this area.
